Choose a design that evokes good memories. This can be anything from the recipients favorite football team, their first car, dog, child, girlfriend or whatever. Make it something that will encourage them to use it.
Use a combination of text and images. You don’t have to, but some of the best results we have seen have revolved around an image surrounded by a couple of lines of text. Some ideas will only require text or only an images, that’s fine too, these are only suggestions.
To create a good design try not to make the design too brash or loud. Choose your colors carefully but don’t be afraid to experiment. If using text, keep it short and sweet. Four to five words per line and no more than three lines. Any more than that and you risk it being unreadable. Of course, if you’re designing the shirt for a bachelor or bachelorette party then feel free to ignore all this advise and print something as loud and as brash as you like!
